Wani has close to 15 years experience in media. She kicked off her career as a journalist in Fiji, which included covering a military coup. Singapore, her home for 10 years, brought interesting challenges. Not finding the excitement of journalism in the South Pacific in the Lion City, she ventured in the opposite direction and entered the curious world of public relations.  

Wani was instantly hooked and enjoyed the challenges of juggling multiple accounts across diverse practices – including technology, corporate and consumer. Apart from media relations, event management has played a far-reaching role in her growth in this dynamic industry.

She has both agency and in-house communications experience. Before venturing into leading her own agency with leading entrepreneur and business partner Angela Loh Bém, Wani was an Account Director at Fulford Public Relations and managed key clients such as the organisers of World Gourmet Summit and Edrington. Prior to that she was part of the communications team at the Las Vegas Sands' property in Singapore, Marina Bay Sands. She has managed accounts ranging from luxury, lifestyle and corporate.

Key client experience: Marina Bay Sands, over 300 retailers at The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands, including luxury brands such as Louis Vuitton, Chanel, KU DE TA, Pangaea, Avalon. Introducing new-to-market brands - iROO, Anne Fontaine and Marisfrolg. Rolling out Singapore’s longest running musical The Lion King and media and public launch of Sands SkyPark. Supporting CSR initiatives such as the Sovereign Asian Art Prize, Corporate clients include Visa, Amadeus, MOGi, interTouch, Servcorp, Experian, The Fournaise Marketing Group.

She is married to a business editor with a son.
